Brent Stephen Banks, DPM
Dr. Brent Banks was born and raised in the Alvin, Texas area. He attended Alvin High School before graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. From there, he and his wife moved to the city of Chicago, where he attended and graduated from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. After this, he decided to further his podiatric education through completion of a podiatric surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Banks is married to his wife, Tracy, and they live in League City, Texas.
Dr. Banks joined Bay Area Podiatry Associates in July 2010. Dr. Banks is currently board qualified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and is actively pursuing his board certification status. In his residency, he was trained at a level 1 trauma center and is well versed in all aspects of foot and ankle care, from severe injuries to diabetic care to more common problems like bunions and hammertoes. Dr. Banks is also an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Texas Podiatric Medical Association and American Podiatric Medical Association.
